How to overcome imposter syndrome at work

Last week, we discussed the five types of imposter syndrome, and how we can identify which one we suffer from and where it shows up in our work; this week, I want to talk about the root causes of imposter syndrome but most importantly, how to overcome imposter syndrome at work. Identifying the root cause is a huge step in overcoming it in your career.
For some, it stems from a single bad experience they may have had early on in their careers. For others, it could stem from their upbringing. For others, it could be limiting beliefs.
Everyone is different, and everyone has different places where their imposter syndrome has grown from. But if we can track down that root, it will be that much easier to fight off those lingering thoughts and fears that are holding us back from stepping into the roles we deserve.
Ready for the conclusion to my three-part series on imposter syndrome? Let's finish this series strong!
